From the AI:

Here are seven ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) could potentially harm humanity:

  1. Job displacement: As AI becomes more advanced, it may be able to perform tasks that are currently done by humans, potentially leading to widespread job displacement and economic disruption.
  2. Bias and discrimination: AI systems can be biased if they are trained on biased data, and this can lead to discriminatory outcomes.
  3. Security and privacy risks: AI systems can be vulnerable to hacking and other forms of cyberattack, which could lead to the loss of sensitive data or the manipulation of AI systems for malicious purposes.
  4. Autonomous weapons: There are concerns about the development of autonomous weapons, or weapons that can select and engage targets without human intervention. These weapons could potentially be used to carry out military or terrorist attacks, and the lack of human control could make it difficult to de-escalate conflicts.
  5. Loss of control: If AI systems become too advanced, it is possible that they could surpass human…
