Joolz Aer with Bassinet after 1 month (Review)

The perfect urban pram?

I was a pram skeptic. Then I tried to fold one.

My thinking had been ‘Box on wheels, how hard can it be?’.

Hard.

Latches, buttons, clips and mechanisms all hidden under flaps and camouflaged in the vanity of aesthetics leave you haplessly groping around the frame.

Six university degrees between us and we were bested by more than one box on wheels.

Redsbaby, Babyzen, Baby Jogger, Bugaboo, Uppababy, Steelcraft. A carnage of contorted frames and their promises of easy folds were left in our wake.

Then we found the Joolz Aer.

Out and about with the Joolz Aer + Bassinet

The Ultimate One-hand fold stroller

One hand, one smooth motion, no instructions, pram folded.

The heavens open, angels sing. This is how a pram should fold.

Of course, folding a pram down is only half the battle. The other half was unfolding. Some choose to shake it out like an umbrella using only the handle bar for the instant unfold speed. Using a hand on both the handle bar and cross-bar to control the expansion is a more gentle method.
